Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the eldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to a psychotherapist Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a former real estate developer with a grandfather who left Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in the year 1976. Psaki is also of Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000 she graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in English and sociology. She is a Chi Omega Sorority member. At William & Mary, Psaki was a backstroke athlete with the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki was initially involved in the 2001 re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki became John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was in the position from 2005 until 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and also as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced Psaki as an analyst on the political scene for the 2022 United States Elections and during 2024 Presidential Campaign. In 2023 she will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel. [35] Psaki made her TV debut for the first time following being dismissed as White House Press secretary.
